Description
Revolutionary elastomeric waterproofing membranes ESHADIEN Ultra White are produced from special bitumen, modified with thermoplastic elastomeric materials (SBS). This modification of the bitumen results in a binding material with enhanced elasticity, even at extremely low temperatures (-20°C), and improved viscoelastic properties which are ideal for the production of superb quality bituminous waterproofing products.
Reflectivity is defined as:The quantity of light reflectedEmissivity is defined as: Ability to dissipate heatThis is achieved with the use of a new technology trilaminated ultra-white reflected film as top finish of the membrane. Due to the afore mentioned technology, the membrane continues to exhibit high reflectivity even after many years of continuous service.
CHARACTERISTICS/ADVANTAGES
- High sunlight reflection that results in a cool-roof phenomenon →lowering of the temperature beneath a flat roof by 5°C or more
- Helps reduce “heat island effect” and energy consumption of air-conditioning systems
- Self-cleaning surface
- Consistent properties on a long-term basis
- Wide temperature application window
- High resistance to cracking, owing to its elastic properties
- High puncture resistance and resistance to mechanical deformations
- Advanced weldability to any substrate
- Increased resistance to ageing
